Position: Line Cook

Shift: 11am-8pm, 5 Days/Week

Pay: $20-$22 per hour based on experience

Job Summary:

The Line Cook prepares, cooks, and plates menu items along with performing general cleaning.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Prepares ingredients for entrees, sets up workstation, and cooks menu items according to the guest specification- while also meeting health/safety guidelines.
  •  Prepares and serves various foods in assigned work situations including pantry, sauces, poultry, fish, and meat items. 
  • Able to comfortably cook on various stations including fry, sauté, grill, and oven.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and follow measurements/complete conversions.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • One Year of A-La-Carte Line Cook experience required
  • One Year of Line Cook experience in a fine-dining setting preferred.
  • Ability to interpret standardized recipes, instructions, specifications and standards.
