Cottage Grove Place is recruiting for Assistant Director of Nursing.  This role helps lead the 63 bed Health Center (Long-Term Care and Skilled Rehab), including support from Administrator, DON, MDS Coordinator, Unit Coordinator and Wound Nurse. 

 
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities: 
  • Supervise Health Center personnel to include hiring, training, evaluating and counseling within established policies and procedures.
  • Participate with the Infection Prevention and Control Program in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Administer the schedule of nursing services/personnel. 
  • Maintain medical charting and required documentation under scope state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate policies.
  • Serve as the department representative and coordinator of the Quality Assurance program for nursing services.
  • Assess residents for change in level of care and coordinate billing for that level of care.
  • Work closely with residents and families to develop & implement appropriate Plan of Care.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: 
  • Graduation from accredited Nursing program.
  • Currently licensed RN (Registered Nurse) with the Iowa Board of Nursing.
  • Currently CPR certified.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in geriatric nursing and/or possess a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum two (2) years nursing administration experience, preferably in long term care. 

Salary Range: $82,000.00 - $86,000.00
