We are currently seeking a hospitality minded full-time Billing Specialist.
Candidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding care and service to our residents.
Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Job Duties:
- Compiles and inputs data into the computer for Resident billing.
- Performs Insurance verifications as necessary.
- Compiles and Inputs data into the computer for assigned areas of billing.
- Follows up on all account receivables to insure aging accounts are collected.
- Sets up new payor sources as necessary.
- Runs necessary reports. Maintains backup and support documents.
- Maintains ledgers and storage binders in an orderly fashion.
- Posts payments to the receivable.
- Files paperwork.
- Assists Accounting Supervisor & Director with accounting duties, as assigned.

What you'll do
- The specialist is responsible for compiling and inputting data for resident billing, performing necessary insurance verifications, and following up on all accounts receivables to ensure collection of aging accounts. Duties also include setting up new payor sources, running reports, maintaining ledgers, and posting payments to receivables.
