Licensed Clinician – DeKalb Regional Crisis Center
Claratel Behavioral Health (formerly DeKalb Community Service Board) is a leading, community-based provider of behavioral health and developmental disabilities services in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia. We serve more than 11,000 uninsured and underinsured individuals annually through a full continuum of mental health, substance use, and developmental disabilities programs.
As a public, not-for-profit organization, Claratel BH operates over 20 locations across DeKalb County and employs a diverse workforce of more than 500 direct-care and support professionals. Our team of physicians, nurses, clinicians, and support staff is committed to helping individuals and families recover from behavioral health challenges and resume meaningful, productive lives. We deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in the least restrictive settings and envision a community where disabilities no longer limit potential. About the DeKalb Regional Crisis Center
The Crisis Center provides urgent intervention and stabilization services for adults experiencing behavioral health emergencies. It offers three levels of care:
Job Summary
The Licensed Clinician plays a vital role in the delivery of crisis evaluation, stabilization, and withdrawal management services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, the clinician provides assessments, individual and group therapy, family counseling, discharge planning, and other evidence-based interventions. This role supports the overall mission of the Crisis Center through collaborative, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care.
