Junior Financial Analyst (AR) at Clúid Housing Role Overview:

  • Position: Junior Financial Analyst – Accounts Receivable
  • Reporting to: Finance Operations Supervisor
  • Location: 159-161 Upper Sheriff Street, Dublin 1 (Hybrid)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Salary: €30,000 - €38,000 (depending on experience)

 

Role Overview 

This role of Junior Finance Analyst (AR) is key to the department ensuring it fulfills the financial and budgetary requirements of Clúid Housing. In particular, the position works in partnership with three Junior Finance Analysts and the Assistant Management Accountant to carry out the activities of the accounts receivable function including resident rent account maintenance. The role will also play a key role in supporting projects in the Finance Office.  


Key Responsibilities

  • Action all resident rent queries in a prompt and efficient manner, which will involve liaising with the Contact Centre and Housing Services Teams
  • Posting of all rent transactions to the accounting software
  • Ensure all rent charged to residents is in accordance with the various housing rental policies
  • Reconcile the information across the various IT systems in place for both Housing Services and Finance
  • Complete periodic bank reconciliations
  • Investigate amounts in the Suspense Account
  • Provide periodic reports and ad-hoc reports as required and directed
  • Assist with other ad-hoc duties and financial projects as required
  • Provide cover for other finance staff during holiday and other busy periods

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Educated to leaving cert
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a finance department
  • Bank reconciliation experience
  • IT. skills to intermediate level, particularly Excel
  • Accounting Technician a distinct advantage or experience in similar role
