Billing Coordinator

Job Title: Billing Coordinator 

Reports To: Accounting Manager

Job Overview: 

CJRW is seeking a Billing Coordinator with a proven knowledge of accounting principles and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The Billing Coordinator will ensure timely and accurate billing processes and collaborate with various departments to optimize billing processes and enhance client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have refined communication skills, an eye for detail, and an aptitude for numbers. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensures accuracy and efficiency in billing processes including billing multiple clients during mid-month and month-end periods.
• Reconciles, reports and researches any discrepancies found in billing.
• Maintains supreme communication with Account Executives to streamline processes and resolve billing issues and disputes as they arise.
• Accurately enters and reconciles media accounts payable by verifying vendor invoices match approved orders, ensuring correct rates/placements, and applying the appropriate markup percentage.
• Enters production accounts payable as needed, following proper approval, ensuring the appropriate accrual of use tax as necessary.
• Reconciles vendor statements to ensure all vendor invoices are recorded precisely.
• Processes client checks in exact accordance with internal policies and processes.
• Prepares and analyzes billing and financial reports.
• Supports other team members with their billing duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, finance, or a related field. 
• Advertising agency experience is a plus. 
• Prior experience with business software such as NetSuite and Salesforce are highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
• Proven ability to work under strict deadlines and in an environment with many interruptions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties.
• Master collaborator and process improvement enthusiast.
