Mail Machine Sitma OPERATOR – 3rd Shift (12AM-8AM)
Location: Sheridan Hanover, PA

SALARY: $17-18 hr OR Higher based on skill level.
PLUS PREMIUM 8% night shift bonus
Job Summary:
The Mail Machine Operator is responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of the mailing machine as well as leading the machine crew to ensure all customer mail schedules are met.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare mailing machine for job run.
- Monitor and feed machine during job run.
- Complete necessary paperwork and workflow transactions as they relate to mailing information.
- Maintain inventory records of spare parts for the machine.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines.
- Assist in the training of new hires within the area of responsibility.
- Lead and direct crew to ensure timely and accurate completion of all job runs.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Previous machine operating experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical ability and machine trouble shooting skills
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Leadership experience
- Knowledge of postal regulations
- Knowledge of Mail Line equipment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to constantly stand and navigate the department and facility.
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds at times.
