Ottawa Public Library (OPL) provides accessible, innovative library and information services throughout the City of Ottawa, that meet the unique needs of diverse communities, delivered through facility, mobile, and virtual channels.
You are responsible for supporting the planning and coordination of food, retail, and event services at Ādisōke; including contributing to the design and operations of the retail space (gift shop). You also maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing OPL interests and liaising with Library and Archives Canada (LAC) to ensure joint alignment.
You support OPL’s strategic objectives through collaborative program design, project coordination, and business planning, particularly for contracted services and financial performance related to hospitality and events.
Completion of a 3-year college or university degree in hospitality and tourism management, business administration, or a related field.
3 years of relevant experience in hospitality services, retail, or customer service environments.
