About the position
Reporting to the Team Leader IT Business Operations, this role leads a team and is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the City of Tea Tree Gully’s Enterprise Architecture, Data Strategy, and IT Solution Roadmaps aligned with Council’s Strategic Plan and IT Asset Management Plan.
Key responsibilities are:
- Lead development and implementation of strategic technology frameworks and policies.
- Manage and develop a team of IT professionals, providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to achieve team and organisational objectives.
- Establish and govern technology roadmaps for resilient ICT operations and secure information management.
- Research and assess emerging technologies to deliver innovative, risk-aware solutions.
- Provide expert business partnering support and strategic advice to leadership.
- Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Position Description – Enterprise and Solution Architect
About you
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Enterprise Architecture (or equivalent experience).
- Industry certification in an Enterprise Architecture framework (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, Gartner).
- Extensive experience managing and developing teams in a technology environment.
- Strong capability in interpreting and applying emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Excellent communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Sound project management and financial acumen.
- Ability to foster collaboration and build strong relationships across the organisation.
- South Australian Class C Driver’s Licence and willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and Police check.

Salary range is between $117,741 and $124,538 plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications.
