Job Summary

Performs unskilled manual work involving the maintenance of specific department needs. Primary duties include cleaning of parking facilities and prevention of equipment failures, as well as prevention of deterioration of the concrete or steel structure. Performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of power tools, mechanical cleaning equipment, lubrication of mechanical parts, minor repairs, and other maintenance tasks requiring some skills. Work is assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and is inspected for quality and productivity.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Some laborer experience in general cleaning of a facility desired. Valid Florida Driver's License required.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:

  • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
  • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
  • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
  • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
