This is a seasonal job for the City of Lansing with duties occurring during the regular swim season between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Other duties outside of this description will most likely be necessary. Candidates must be able to do basic math and monitor patrons by minimizing or eliminating hazardous situations or behaviors. This person will need to be able to solve on-the-job issues by utilizing effective critical thinking and decision-making skills and possess the ability to work with all visitors to the facility. Admission Workers must be able to enforce pool policies and be able to communicate effectively.
