The successful candidate:

**Sign-on bonus of $7500

Hours: Monday - Friday with rotating weekend on-call shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM / 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)

Job Summary:

The Registered Dietitian (RD) is responsible for assessing nutritional status and providing appropriate medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and education to improve, maintain, or optimize nutritional status. Approximately 75% of the time will be spent in direct patient care in an outpatient setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess nutritional status of patients.

  • Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and education.

  • Develop and implement nutrition care plans.

  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress.

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Advanced degree in the field of nutrition (Preferred).

  • Experience: 0-3 years of clinical nutrition experience.

  • Licensure:

    • Registered Dietitian (RD).

    • State Licensure – May begin employment while applying for licensure and work for up to 6 months with supervision while the license application process is pending.

  • Certifications:

    • Ongoing maintenance of Continuing Education Units (CEU).

    • CPR/First Aid certified (Preferred).

    • Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO) (Preferred).
