About this role

The DNS Experience Owner (EO1) is a senior product leader responsible for driving the Private Bank Digital North Star (DNS) – a strategic initiative to deliver the next generation Client Platform for Citizens Private Bank and Citizens Private Wealth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving product strategy, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering successful experiences that meet both client needs and business objectives. This role will be focused on the Digital North Star Enhanced Business Banking Capabilities pod. 

Primary responsibilities include

  • Strategic Vision: Lead the development and execution of product strategies for Private Bank and Business Banking digital experiences, including account access, entitlements, and money movement enhancements.  
  • Product Roadmap: Convert high-level vision into detailed requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring the delivery meets quality, scope, and value standards. Prioritize features and enhancements based on client feedback, banker input, market research, and business priorities. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, fraud, compliance, operations, and business partners to deliver seamless, secure, and scalable solutions. Ensure alignment and successful product delivery across Private Bank, Private Wealth, and Business Banking lines.  
  • Business Banking Capabilities: Expand and enhance online and mobile banking capabilities for business clients, including wires (domestic/international), RTP, bulk payments, higher limits/controls, and policy-driven entitlements. Integrate with core banking, identity/SSO, notifications, and dependent technology. 
  • Product Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept to launch to ongoing optimization, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time and within budget.  Understand how your products fit into the larger ecosystems and anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the business, partnering to evaluate tradeoffs of technical decisions and customer experience impacts.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Champion innovation by challenging the status quo and identifying sustainable value creation opportunities. Facilitate continuous improvements through team discussions, market research, competitive assessments, and user feedback.  
  • Testing and Optimization: Build robust test & learn agendas and analyze user data to optimize the deposit account opening experience and improve conversion rates. Implementing automation testing when appropriate. 
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all digital experiences comply with relevant banking regulations, data privacy laws, and risk management standards. Partner with risk, compliance, and fraud teams to proactively address regulatory changes and emerging risks. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product plans, progress, and results to executive leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Rally teams around the product vision and influence prioritization across partner teams. 
  • Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior product managers and cross-functional team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and agile delivery. Empower pod members to continuously learn and grow. 
  • Agile Team Routines: Lead product demo and reviews, develop UI prototypes, assist with data provisioning, and analyze usage, behavioral, transactional and technical data.  

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Required Qualifications
    • 7+ years of product management experience in financial services, with a strong record of delivering successful digital products for Private Banking, Wealth Management, and Business Banking clients. 
    • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives, working within Agile Pods or cross-functional teams to drive rapid delivery cycles and transformation efforts. 
    • Deep understanding of client-facing portals, digital servicing tools, and business banking operations. 
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization. 
    • Comprehensive understanding of product management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Lean. 
    • Proficiency with product management tools including JIRA and Confluence. 
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive product improvements. 
    • Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric approach to product development. 
    • Experience managing multiple pods/squads and mobile/web app development teams. 
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and a hunger to learn and tackle new challenges. 
       

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
  • Experience in business banking product development.

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Location: Westwood MA or Johnston RI 
  • (in office 4 days/ 1 day work from home)

 

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $120,000-$190,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.
