Role Overview:
The Picking Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing daily order picking operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality standards consistent with Citarella Gourmet’s premium brand. This role provides hands-on leadership to picking associates, ensures adherence to food safety and company standards, and supports on-time fulfillment for retail and customer orders.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
• 1–3 years of warehouse, fulfillment, or food distribution experience
• Prior lead, supervisor, or team coordinator experience preferred
• Strong understanding of picking processes and inventory flow
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Preferred
• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems
• Food handling or food safety experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Experience working with perishable or specialty food products
