What you will do:
Working closely with the Entertainment Manager, the Entertainment Coordinator supports the planning, scheduling, and execution of Entertainment content and live events across LBE and EXH business units. This role is responsible for coordinating Broadcast Programming, LBE in venue digital and print signage, ticketing and website updates, and the upkeep of Entertainment-related assets across all EXH and LBE business units. The position also assists local building management with the planning and delivery of select Entertainment offerings.
This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office per week). Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto.
Responsibilities
Schedule Entertainment and Groups & Events content for EXH and LBE’s digital screens on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, including dayparting schedules
Create and coordinate signage promoting upcoming activities in LBE venues, both print and digital including at EXH business units
Update EXH and LBE venue websites with Entertainment related content
Audit and upkeep library of Entertainment related assets and collateral
Identify and recommend Broadcast Events to be shown in LBE venues; including Major League Sports, Pay-Per-View events, Major Sporting Events, and Award Shows
Create and maintain Broadcast Event calendars for LBE venues
Coordinate broadcast programming with LBE venue operational teams
Coordinate with local EXH management to coordinate the same responsibilities mentioned above in those locations when applicable
In partnership with the Entertainment Manager, assist with the planning and delivery of select Entertainment offerings in EXH and LBE business units
Communicate with Talent Buyers, Venue Operations, EXH Operations, and talent to oversee and maintain the Live Event Calendar and Programming schedules at our Cineplex Junxion and Playdium locations
Under the direction of the Entertainment Manager, coordinate Special Event ticket builds, customer communications and event reporting through the ticketing platform Showclix
Under the direction of the Manager, coordinate venue music through the platform Soundtrack Your Brand
Participate in meetings, collect and share feedback
Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the Entertainment Manager and/or Manager once removed (MOR) and/or Cineplex executive leadership team
Qualifications
Post secondary degree or certification in event management or equivalent industry experience
Experience in live-event production or similar capacity
Experience working with Showclix or other cloud-based ticketing platforms is an asset
Experience working with Soundtrack Your Brand, Broadsign, or other content scheduling platforms is an asset
Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, detail oriented, flexible, strong organizational and follow up skills
Ability to take on responsibility and use initiative to prioritize and work effectively, under pressure and with tight deadlines
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, and to effectively manage multiple priorities
