JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Purchasing- Process orders using electronic and hardcopy eProcurement and eCNSR purchase orders. Support vendor payment by resolving Match Errors/Discrepancies and problem invoices. Ensure on time delivery and receipt of product by confirmation of orders and expediting not received orders. Provide back-up support for other buyers. Provide timely maintenance of P.O. system, including follow-up and closure of outstanding orders. Provide quality customer service. Notify customers of any issues related to Purchase Order (P.O.), price, availability, etc. Suggest alternative products and samples for customer approval. Educate and support customers and vendors.
Maintain Relationships- Build and maintain collaborative internal and external relationships.
Reporting- Provide accurate and timely reporting of statistics. Provide data, support and collaboration with appropriate staff to ensure integrity of system data, standardization, best value and continual improvement.
