About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall technology and digital solution needs of CIMB PB Malaysia, specifically for Avaloq.
- Participate in Project Steering Committees and Project Working Committees for approved and inflight technology projects.
- Act as the liaison between Business Team and Technology Team on all technology matters related to the PB platform, primarily on Avaloq.
- Understand business requirements from each PB business unit and document them in the Business Requirement Document (BRD) for relevant parties’ sign‑off.
- Translate the BRD into a Functional Specification Document (FSD) for sign‑off and subsequently hand it over to Technology Team for development and implementation.
- Configure and parameterise Avaloq based on BRD and FSD requirements.
- Escalate issues and risks related to technology to senior management in a timely manner.
- Provide solutions to issues and risks encountered in relation to technology.
- Build strong networks with relevant internal and external stakeholders, gather important technology updates, and stay abreast of the latest technologies in the wealth management space.
- Manage issues and complaints escalated by internal teams related to technology.
Key Requirements
- Degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems).
- More than 10 years of working experience in Avaloq as a Business Analyst.
- More than 5 years of experience in a technical field (software development or hardware infrastructure setup/maintenance) is an added advantage.
- Experience in the wealth management industry or involvement in digitisation-related projects is an added advantage.
