The Agile Product Owner Lead Analyst plays a pivotal role in translating business vision into tangible outcomes by decomposing complex processes into Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and actionable requirements. Acting as a strategic bridge between business and engineering, the Lead Analyst drives the development of reliable, forward-looking solutions to address intricate business challenges.

This role supports initiatives within the Coverage Review Determination area, leveraging deep technical and operational expertise to convert business needs into system flows, story maps, and refined user stories. The Lead Analyst contributes to the software development lifecycle, challenging design proposals and ensuring delivery of optimal solutions on time and within budget. With a focus on measurable outcomes, the Lead Analyst ensures end-to-end execution and success of assigned portfolio initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a defined capability or technical product area, ensuring alignment with product value, cost of ownership, and non-functional requirements such as reliability, scalability, usability, security, and performance.
  • Maintain and evolve the product’s technical roadmap, advocating timely prioritization of both functional and non-functional workstreams.
  • Leverage deep understanding of the product’s value stream and system interactions to identify and drive impactful changes that deliver business value.
  • Translate business cases and future-state goals into actionable, measurable requirements and user stories, incorporating architectural inputs from engineering team.
  • Lead agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, story refinement, and feature elaboration to ensure cohesive and iterative delivery.
  • Utilize agile tools like Jira to manage work-in-progress, story aging, and throughput, optimizing team performance and delivery cadence.
  • Collaborate closely with Business and Technology stakeholders to foster shared understanding, build trust, and ensure alignment on product vision and priorities, while effectively communicating stakeholder goals and expected outcomes to engineering and architecture teams for clarity and traceability.
  • Share clear and timely updates on progress, risks, and blockers with leaders and teams. Keep track of product health and work on fixing issues and reducing technical debt.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of complex initiatives, orchestrating cross-functional dependencies and challenging design proposals to ensure optimal, timely solutions.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Agile Scrum Process and Agile tools
  • Strong & Advanced Experience with Atlassian – JIRA is required.
  • Experience writing user stories, splitting user stories, story pointing exercises
  • Exposure to Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with REACT and UI/UX principles
  • Awareness of GenAI trends and applications in product development
  • Experience with Zephyr or similar test management tools
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly and independently learn new skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, execution teams and peers. 

Required Experience & Education: 

  • 6-8 years of experience in a related technical/business area required
  • Bachelor’s degree equivalent in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Technology Management, or related field of study.
  • Additional IT related or Agile related Certifications preferred
  • Demonstrate ability to perform root cause analysis and suggest rectification options.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – Should be able to provide technical and functional impact summary of the managed incidents
  • Development/ QA/ Design experience preferred
  • Previous Product Management experience driving complex business products required.
  • Certification in Product Management preferred; not mandatory.

Location & Hours of Work:

Hyderabad and Hybrid (01:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST)
