What you’ll be doing
CIBC Investor’s Edge UX team is a cross-disciplinary team of Digital Strategists, UI & UX Designers, Researchers and Content Specialists, responsible for creating intuitive, engaging digital experiences for our clients. We collaborate closely to optimize our online and mobile properties, and as part of the UX Strategy team, you will be responsible for helping define the direction of digital experiences within the Investor’s Edge platform. In this role, you will work closely with both UX and UI designers, and will collaborate with Editorial, and Product Owners.
At CIBC, we enable the work environment to be most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $66,090 to $85,550.
The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.

Important information:
You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for a role.

How you’ll succeed
Digital Strategy – Assist in the creation of UX related roadmap items.
Competitive analysis - Research UX trends in the Financial industry and others.
Creativity - Use your creative thinking skill to to develop innovative and new solutions. Create wireframes and presentation decks to share ideas and flows to peers and stakeholders.
Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills will be put to use to allow successful collaboration while working remotely in a team.
Time Management - Manage multiple concurrent objectives, project, groups and activities, while prioritizing and allocating time effectively.
