What You’ll Be Doing

The Consultant, Digital Experience Platform , reports to the Director of Digital Experience Platform. This role is responsible for defining and executing digital experience use cases leveraging Adobe Journey Optimizer, supporting requirements gathering, solution design, build, and testing activities.

How You’ll Succeed

Use Case Definition & Solutioning

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, and business stakeholders to define and prioritize digital experience use cases leveraging Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
  • Lead requirements gathering for marketing campaigns, customer journeys, segmentation, and personalized experiences, translating business needs into actionable technical solutions across AJO and AEP.

Build & Testing

  • Oversee the configuration, build, and deployment of AJO journeys and marketing campaigns, including audience creation, real-time triggers, and cross-channel orchestration.
  • Develop and execute testing plans to validate data flows, campaign logic, personalization rules, and user experience, ensuring high-quality delivery.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with Technology, Analytics, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of AJO and AEP with other Adobe solutions and MarTech platforms.
  • Support marketing operations by maintaining campaign tagging, reporting, and analytics standards.

Leadership

  • Serve as an AJO and AEP subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to marketing, technology, and analytics team members.
  • Foster collaboration and help resolve operational or process challenges, enabling marketing teams to execute data-driven, personalized campaigns effectively.​

Who You Are:

  • Certified Professional: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • AJO/AEP Experience: 2+ years of hands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer or Adobe Experience Platform development experience, including requirements definition, solution design, build, and testing.
  • Digital Analytics Expertise: 2–3 years designing digital analytics solutions for Single Page Applications and Mobile Apps, including third-party SDK integrations, tagging/tracking, campaign tracking, A/B testing, and journey personalization.
  • Technical Skills: 2–3 years of experience in JavaScript, SQL, Python, or R. Knowledge of automated tagging and validation techniques and tools (e.g., ObservePoint) is an asset.
  • MarTech & Data: Demonstrated knowledge of MarTech product engineering, platform architecture/integration, data development, data modeling, statistical methodologies, and business measurement.
  • Data Translator: Ability to investigate complex problems, synthesize information, and translate analyses into effective reporting and dashboards.
  • Problem Solver: Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills; proven ability to independently identify and analyze business/technical problems and recommend solutions.
  • Effective Communicator: Strong communication and presentation skills, able to clearly and concisely present information to diverse audiences.
  • Influencer: Understands the importance of relationships and networks, inspiring outcomes through expertise.
