Turfway Park Racing & Gaming is a gaming and entertainment facility located in Florence, Kentucky, featuring over 800 popular, thrilling, state-of-the-art Vegas-style games, a one-mile thoroughbred horse racing track, sports wagering, two restaurants, and a 20,000+ square foot Event Center / Entertainment Venue.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

• Take guest orders, serve drinks and collect monies in a courteous and efficient manner
• Adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Ensure guest satisfaction in assigned areas and other areas if necessary.
• Adhere to state liquor laws and beverage control procedures.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discretely notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations
• Promote positive guest and team member relations

Qualifications:

• Basic mathematical skills specific to job responsibilities are required, to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
• Must be able to make cash transactions accurately.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The gaming floor is fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. Beverage Servers may be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
• While performing the duties of this job, the Beverage Server is frequently required to stand and walk throughout the assigned shift.
