About this role

We are seeking an accomplished Head of Early Careers to shape the future of Chubb’s early‑talent strategy and lead our organisation into the next era of workforce development. This is a senior, influential role for a seasoned HR professional with deep expertise across the generalist discipline and a strong track record of designing and delivering high‑impact early careers programmes. The role is covering the whole of the UK&I and will require flexibility to travel when required.

SALARY: up to £70,000 depending on experience.

What You’ll be Doing As head of Early Careers:

  • Lead major HR initiatives that shape how we attract, develop, and retain early‑career talent.
  • Provide authoritative guidance on HR policies and procedures, supporting leaders with clear, expert advice.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insight on organisational needs and talent priorities.
  • Assess capability gaps and recommend strategic interventions to strengthen the early‑talent pipeline.
  • Ensure the early careers strategy aligns with long‑term business goals and future workforce requirements.
  • Influence decision‑making by bringing data‑driven insight and deep HR expertise to leadership discussions.

What you need to bring:

  • You will bring hands‑on experience running early careers programmes, including graduate schemes, placement and internship pathways, and apprenticeship or trainee frameworks.
  • You will understand the legislative landscape
  • You will know how to build strong partnerships with learning providers and have the credibility to influence stakeholders at every level.

  • Strong understanding of administrative procedures, with the ability to apply them consistently and accurately.
