ChristianaCare Urogynecology at Map II in Newark, DE is looking for a Medical Office Assistant II.
The Medical Office Assistant II key responsibilities include scheduling appointments with consideration of insurance details, greeting patients professionally to collect demographic and financial information, and processing referral information while maintaining patient confidentiality.
This position will also be a back-up surgical scheduler as needed.

Duties / Responsibilities:
This position is the first point of contact between the practice and the patient and is responsible for creating a friendly, welcoming calm and efficient environment for the practice. The Medical Office Assistant II serves patients with poise and compassion virtually or on-site, fields phone calls, answers patient questions, schedules new and follow-up appointments, registers patients and updates records and represents the entire practice every time there is interaction with a patient. In addition, the Medical Office Assistant II assists with the training of Medical Office Assistant staff and provides guidance with workflow questions.

2 years’ experience in a medical office practice setting is required; 3 years’ experience is preferred.
