ChristianaCare is currently recruiting for a highly motivated and skilled Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in our expanding Cardiovascular Critical Care Complex (Medical) as a Nocturnist.
Responsibilities in the unit include admitting and managing multiple critically ill patients in collaboration with intensivists, fellows, and residents. The ideal candidate for this position is comfortable working in a high acuity, fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy. It is preferred that candidate have at least 1 year of critical care experience, but new graduates will be considered. Formal individualized onboarding and orientation will be provided.
Hours will be 7p-7am with flexible scheduling and a generous stipend that will get paid out biweekly.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Physician Assistant must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program and have NCCPA Certification
Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required
Preferred minimum of 1-year critical care experience, will consider new graduates
License or license eligible for the State of Delaware
Prescriptive authority and controlled substance license for state of Delaware
Federal DEA
ACLS certification
