Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Job Overview:

We are looking for automotive technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for must seek solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest
• Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
• Honestly assess vehicles and document detailed recommendations of necessary repairs and manufacturer's maintenance recommendations
• Maintain professionalism while addressing all customer concerns 
• Review TSB's and other service recommendations and translate them to the customer's needs
• Politely and professionally communicate cause and correction for our guest concerns regarding their vehicle
• Complete wheel and tire replacements as needed
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Responsible for keeping the branded repair vehicle clean and presentable at all times
• Master MFG-level diagnostic tools (MFG scan tools and subscriptions are provided by CBA)

Qualifications: 

• Positive attitude and a desire to serve our guest
• 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
• ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
• Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
• Meet or exceed hourly goals
• Must have sufficient knowledge of traffic laws, understand them and follow them
• Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Professional appearance and strong communication
• A desire for long-term career development

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
• Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
• Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
• Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
• Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
• Drive manual transmissions vehicles
• Efficiently navigate a computer
