The Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) PRN plays a vital role in the SNF, supporting occupational therapists by delivering therapeutic interventions to patients under supervision. This position focuses on helping individuals regain, develop, or maintain daily living and work skills through customized treatment plans. The OTA PRN works with diverse patient populations across various settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and outpatient clinics, ensuring flexible and responsive care. The role requires adaptability to varying schedules and patient needs, providing high-quality assistance on an as-needed basis. Ultimately, the OTA PRN contributes to improving patients' functional independence and quality of life through compassionate and skilled support.

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will:

• Administers the Occupational Therapy treatment plan as developed by the Occupational Therapist.

• Applies concepts of infection control/universal precautions in performing patient care.

• Assure continuity of quality patient care delivered with appropriate documentation.

• Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members and other health care professionals.

• Promote agency philosophy and administrative policies.

Requirements

• Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License

• Home health or skilled nursing facility experience preferred

• CPR certification

• Valid Driver’s License

• Valid Auto Insurance

• HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred
