About this role

Job Summary:   The Pool Supervisor will maintain an attractive, sanitary, and safe swimming pool for the guest at the Oasis by enforcing all pool regulations and safety requirements. Coordinate the daily operations of the pool and all pool personnel. You will report to the Spa Director.

Start Rate: $17.00 p/h | Temp | Seasonal

Primary Tasks:

1.       You will monitor the cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance of the pool area.

2.       Interview, hire, train, schedule, and coach all pool personnel regarding regulations and safety.

3.       You will resolve all guest concerns and maintaining positive guest relations to maintain customer satisfaction.   

4.       Monitor guest adherence to established pool rules and regulations and take appropriate action.

5.       You will organize work, set priorities, and meet important time deadlines.

6.       Present and maintain a high standard of customer service.

7.       You will perform multiple tasks as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.

8.       Assist with setup and movement of equipment to ensure availability for special events.

9.       You will exhibit initiative to safeguard all users of the pool areas.

10.      Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

·        American Red Cross Certification

·        American Red Cross Lifeguard training and First Aid certification.

·        Skill in application of life guarding surveillance and rescue techniques.

·        Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

·        6 months experience as Head Lifeguard or supervisory lifeguarding experience.
