Cage Cashier - Idabel, OK

$10.00 Hourly + Tips | Part Time 

Available Schedules:  

Schedule 1 - 3:00pm - 11:00pm Thurday, 11pm-7am Friday, Saturday, Sunday,  

Schedule 2 - Sun, Mon, Tue 7am -3pm, Wed 3p-11pm, 

Schedule 3  - 11:00pm - 7:00am Monday - Thursday 

Weekly Wage Access is an option for this position. (Avg Tip Rate $7/hr, tips not guaranteed.)

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Cage Cashier, you will pay out winning gaming machine tickets or chips and tokens to customers who present them. You will report to the Cage Supervisor, Shift Manager, or Cage Manager on duty.

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will be responsible for large sums of money and the payout of tickets; therefore, the cashier must follow Casino procedures exactly.
  2. Ensure all required paperwork is signed and in the shift packets for auditing procedures.
  3. Ensure the customer has signed for all payout for tickets over location-set amount before the ticket is paid.
  4. Answer customer or public inquiries regarding general gaming procedures, and payouts.
  5. You will make change at the customer's request, exchange money, credit, tokens, and tickets.
  6. Verify identification of customers when needed.
  7. Verify authenticity of tickets and requests for payouts.
  8. Keep accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations.
  9. Perform other tasks may be assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Experience handling large volumes of cash
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Knowledge of high-volume cash handling policies
  • Apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions, or conversions)
