About this role
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for the cleanliness of all equipment that goes beyond the normal daily cleaning operations to ensure the highest standards are achieved. You will report to the Executive Steward.
Primary Tasks:
- You will deep clean commercial kitchens and equipment including fryers, flat tops, grills, ranges, and ovens.
- You will move equipment and furniture to sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors using brooms, mops and vacuum cleaners.
- You will deep clean and disinfect walls sinks, countertops, floors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, and microwaves.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Obtain SERV Safe Certification
- Basic knowledge in the use of housekeeping/cleaning equipment and knowledge of chemicals as it relates to MSDS
- Understand government public health and, or safety regulations
- Experience using a computer.
