About this role

Summary:

The Receiving Operator is responsible for loading, unloading and inspecting outbound trailers and receiving all finished goods and raw materials in our facility and SAP system. They will locate and stage / replenish products in the appropriate locations in collaboration with the Inventory Specialist and report directly to the Inventory Supervisor. 

Responsibilities:

  • Properly account for the location of incoming goods and materials.
  • Perform consistent audits to ensure no damaged goods are sent or received.
  • Cross check packing slips and purchase orders to ensure deliveries include all listed products.
  • Cycle count inventory and rotate product to maintain FIFO.
  • Keep record of invoices sent and received as well packing slips, purchase orders, etc.
  • Accurately process returns and update the return spreadsheet.
  • Schedule pickups for freight and handle BOL printing and distribution.
  • Assist in placing orders with suppliers when inventory is low.
  • Regularly load and unload trucks as needed.
  • Assist the fulfillment team in picking, packing, and shipping DTC and Wholesale orders.
  • Occasionally assist in checking pulled orders for accuracy before shipping to customers.
  • Assist in completing prep work as needed (Rebag, grind coffee and box liquid product). 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2-3 years of warehouse/ S+R experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership / interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP, food plant operations and safety.
  • Ability to operate a manual and automatic pallet jack as well as sit-down / standup forklift. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to reach above shoulder level, climb, balance, kneel, bend over, etc.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble small objects, boxes, etc.
  • Be physically active for 8 hours without becoming fatigued or out of breath.
  • Stand for 8 hours a day.
  • Frequently lift and or move 40+ pounds.
  • Occasionally lift and or move 75+ pounds.
  • Frequently push 300-400 lbs on a rolling cart, sometimes at an incline.

The salary range for this full-time position is $22.25 - $28.75, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
