SIGN-ON BONUS! (External candidates)
Part time: 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE)
Must live within a commutable distance to Wauwatosa, WI
Schedule is a combination of:
Days (6am - 2:30pm) Example
PM (2:30pm - 11:00pm) Example
Weekends - every other
Holiday rotation
Hybrid work setting - after orientation
Education
Registered Nurse (Associate or Bachelor's degree) required OR
Pharmacist with Bachelor's degree along with previous clinical or Poison Center experience.
Experience
Three years of clinical experience in acute, ambulatory care or a pediatric setting preferred.
Previous experience in an AAPCC certified Poison Center preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Successful completion of exam for Certified Specialist in Poison Information (CSPI) after meeting the requirements put forth by the American Association of Poison Control Centers. Incumbent must successfully complete exam within 3 attempts.

License Pharmacist (40) - State of Wisconsin

What you'll do
- The RN - Poison Information Specialist will handle incoming emergency calls regarding human toxic exposures, providing assessment, evaluation, and education based on medically approved guidelines. This role requires critical thinking and effective communication to assist both the public and healthcare providers.
