Promotes the patient care philosophy and objectives of the professional practice model by subscribing to and supporting Children's Wisconsin (CW) standards of care through the management of all aspects of patient care delivery, fiscal administration, and professional development in ambulatory Hematology-Oncology-Transplant (HOT) and Day Hospital Services. Collaborates with MACC Fund physicians, inpatient services, other CW departments, and other organizations (e.g. Froedtert Hospital, Medical College of Wisconsin and Versiti) to develop and promote high quality, accessible, and seamless care delivery systems across the MACC Fund Center service line.

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required. Master's degree preferred. Consideration will be given to those actively working toward their Master's degree with an expected graduation date within 2 years.
  • Current license to practice nursing in Wisconsin.
  • Proficiency in complex professional skills acquired through at least three years of clinical experience.
  • Leadership experience required, preferably in pediatrics and/or hematology-oncology-transplant.
  • Requires advanced communications, analytical, and decision making skills necessary to manage daily operations and human resources; contribute to budget development and variance analysis; develop and evaluate inter-disciplinary programs; and work within complex systems that cross multiple CHHS departments and outside organizations.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, clinic/hospital staff, and community.
