Are you seeking flexible hours that fit your lifestyle? If so this position is for you! This position will on average work 16-20 hours per week and can fluctuate up or down based on the department needs.


This team member will be instrumental in assisting our Clinical Educators with work overflow in areas of our implementation of a digital competency management system (Dossier) as well as implementation of a mobile clinical resource tool (Elemeno). Additional work overflow, will consist of child family education content reviewing and digital management of workgroup content and materials.

Essential Functions

  • Uses expert clinical knowledge in collaboration with Clinical Education Specialists to anticipate, assess, develop, and implement and evaluate education and resources for employees as part of Educational Services Programs. This includes presenting in front of large groups, leading interdisciplinary project teams and meetings.

  • In collaboration with Children’s System subject-matter experts and the Educational Services teams, develops and updates patient/ family educational tools using best practice and system processes (i.e. teaching sheets, care notebooks, digital resources).

  • Maintains database(s) to track, schedule, and record activities related to the institution, program(s), and learners.

  • Responsible for collaborating with peers, employees, and leadership teams to implement learning/teaching tools to support standards of practice and projects designed to educate employees.

  • Understands essential components of standards and processes such as policies, procedures, competencies, clinical guidelines, and technologies to deliver healthcare, education and training (i.e.: mobile devices, clinical tools such as Epic, learning management systems, or identification of online resources).


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Bachelor of Science in other allied health profession required


Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years clinical practice and 1-year pediatric clinical healthcare practice within that required

  • 1+ years of clinical education delivery experience required

  • 3 years of pediatric clinical experience with proficiency in complex professional and care management skills preferred

  • 2+ years of clinical education experience preferred

  • Computer skills and Microsoft Office competence required, particularly MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. Prefer experience and skills with MS Excel.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects and manage customer and supervisor expectations regarding status of interim and final deadlines.


Licenses and Certifications:

  • License RN-Registered Nurse (30) - State of Wisconsin required.

  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required.
