Position Summary

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise the nursing care of patients within assigned area. Plan and facilitate daily nursing groups with patients. Complete standard nursing assessment of patients admitted to the partial hospital program; supervise medication administration per departmental policy.

BLS

Education:
Associates degree in nursing required

Required Experience:
Two years or more experience as an RN

Preferred Experience:
Experience in a pediatric-related setting
Two years or more experience in mental health

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong clinical skills with ability to exercise independent judgment, work autonomously, and exhibit high degree of professionalism
Education and experience providing gender, culture, and age appropriate care
Detail-oriented
Strong computer/electronic medical record skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong understanding of child development, normal and atypical
*Ability to develop rapport with wide variety of patients and families

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
