Department Overview

Comprehensive interdisciplinary initial evaluation, follow-up and management of congenital and acquired endocrine disorders, including: diabetes, growth problems, thyroid disorders, etc. This department also provide an education program for children and their families that includes diabetes management and nutrition counseling as well as resources, support groups, for children and their families.

Position Summary
As a member of the interdisciplinary health care team, the RN will provide individualized care to endocrine patients in accordance with hospital and practice site policies, procedures, and established standards of nursing care and practice in collaboration with the Medical Provider. The RN promotes  restoration of health and achievement of patient health goals through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the delivery of patient care as defined by clinic and nursing philosophy. This position does not include management of our Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes population.
 


MN State RN license.
Current BLS Certification.
2 years of nursing experience preferred.
Ambulatory and pediatric experience preferred.
Basic computer skills.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
