Job Responsibilities
- Provides assistance in maintaining smooth operations and patient flow.
- Burns and/or upload CDs as needed.
- Supplies information in the electronic medical record accurately while providing clerical support if needed.
- Performs patient transportation needs for the department.
- Demonstrates competencies that incorporate age-specific guidelines, including N = Neonate (less than 30 days), I = Infant (30 days to 1 year), EC = Early Childhood (1-5 years), LC = Late Childhood (5-13 years), A = Adolescent (13-17 years), AD = Adult, and ALL = all ages.
- Includes family/caregiver in patient care and provides effective education appropriate for learning needs of patient and family as pertains to their role.
- Attends all required system and department educational opportunities.
- Maintains work area in a neat and orderly fashion at all times, keeping radiographic rooms stocked with needed supplies, checking expiration dates on a daily basis, and reporting supply shortages to management.

What you'll do
- The Radiology Technical Assistant assists technologists and physicians with modality procedures and supports safe patient care. Responsibilities include maintaining patient flow, providing clerical support, and ensuring the work area is organized and stocked.
