Summary:
This position is responsible for building patient meal orders and delivering them to the patient room in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
Prepare patient trays according to specified diet order (includes condiments, cold and hot items). Prepare patient meal trays to follow quality, presentation, item placement, and patient meal tray accuracy.
Deliver completed patient meal orders to patient rooms in a timely manner to meet department expectations; Following all required protocols including isolation and hand hygiene. Navigate through multiple information systems simultaneously (CBORD and Tray Monitor)
Check diet discrepancies in diet order if prompted by Tray Monitor or CBORD. Prepare condiments or cold items as needed.
Stock tray line supplies as needed. Deliver floor stock supplies to units as needed.
Clean, dry and mat trays as needed; Wrap silverware as needed. All side duties as needed. Perform other duties and special projects as needed.

WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year related experience. Preferred

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent Required

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Obtain Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire, and maintain current status thereafter. Required
