Summary:
This position is responsible for painting areas within the hospital and monitoring all cosmetic work.
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces and apply paint in various areas throughout the hospital using brushes, rollers and spray guns.
Mix paints as necessary to achieve desired colors or to match surrounding areas.
Install and repair wall paper.
Install and repair plaster and sheet rock walls.
Install and repair cove base, various kinds of tile, ceiling tile, carpet and floor tile.
Perform light carpentry work.
Perform and document preventive maintenance or renovations in patient rooms.
Order stock and maintain an inventory of necessary material. Perform other duties and special projects as required.

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent Pref
