Summary:
Direct the planning and designing of operational strategies and tactics that will enable the operation of an effective Compliance Program for Children's Health System of Texas. Assist both the Senior Director of Compliance Operations and Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer in overall compliance program operations and compliance with all regulatory requirements and corporate policy and procedures certification for multiple hospitals and several affiliates. Serve as a key contributor to all interactions with regulatory agencies such as Texas Medicaid and other state agencies. Participate in and coordinate ongoing compliance program activities for the healthcare system. Serve as conduit between operations, corporate services, and department leadership in assisting/developing the necessary controls and safeguards ensuring compliance meets its strategic goals as set forth by leadership.

Responsibilities:
Maintain and sustain the compliance program operational effectiveness and implement corrective interventions as needed for our healthcare systems; to include collaboration with various leaders across the health system as needed process changes are identified. Provide consultative communication, feedback and decision-making to ensure the compliance team and department leaders are focused, committed and capable of producing expected results. Facilitate coordination of other regulatory activities as deemed necessary that may include, but are not limited to, Texas OIG, TMPH, Medicaid, etc.
Oversee the overall compliance program effectiveness and ensure that established strategic goals are met.
Provide and direct ongoing communication of regulatory standards to all level of constituents across Children's Health with emphasis on functional importance of regulatory compliance while remaining focused on compliance effectiveness while striving towards sustainability.
In collaboration with the Sr. Director, participate in and represent divisional activities in various designated health system committee(s) and task teams with primary responsibility of directing compliance functionality across the system.

WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 7 years Compliance experience in hospital or system setting Required
Comprehensive knowledge of compliance program operations Required
At least 3 years Supervisory experience in a hospital Preferred

EDUCATION
Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required
Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Required

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Healthcare Compliance or equivalent Compliance Certification (ex. CHC, CHRC, CHPC, CHC-F, or CCEP) within 2 years of hire date Preferred
