About this role

Job Summary: Talent Acquisition Manager is to lead the recruitment and selection process, to ensure attraction and retention of the highest quality. Responsible for ensuring compliance with employment legislation and policies and helping secure talent in a timely, efficient & cost-effective manner. The Talent Acquisition Manager will have responsibility for the entire hiring process, and will review, implement, and improve the company’s recruitment processes and onboarding experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract, recruit, and hire top talent for our organization.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and other internal stakeholders to understand their staffing needs and priorities.
  • Source and identify top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Overseeing compensation administration, including pay range establishment, internal and external equity, classification status, payroll transactions, performance administration.
  • Screen and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Manage the hiring process, from offer letters to onboarding, and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Build and maintain a strong employer brand to attract and retain top talent.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Staying current with, interprets and communicates laws and regulations to ensure the organization is aware of its legal responsibilities, in conjunction with the Legal Department.
  • Receiving, researching, investigating, and providing response to employee concerns; produces technical interpretation regarding appeals process and determinations.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics and data to identify areas for improvement and ensure that you're meeting your recruitment goals.
  • Analyzing Talent Management processes and procedures including conducting research and statistical analyses and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Years of Experience: 

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to track and analyze recruitment metrics and data.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment marketing platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field or equivalent years of experience required.

  • Ability to make complex decisions and balance the needs of stakeholders involved.
  • Ability to be sensitive to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
  • Ability to manage execution and direct the work of others towards task completion.
