As a Supply Chain intern, you will take part in the following project: Tracking Tool for Cases with STARS.
Objective: Design and implement a tracking tool that enables the management of critical dates and condition alerts (before and/or after), reconciliations, and one-time extension notifications for logistics processes, services, contracts, and purchases with STARS and additional functionalities.
Project Scope:
Integrated Calendar
Visualization of expiration dates.
Synchronization with STARS (if API or export is available).
Alerts and Conditions
Configuration of alerts before and after key events.
Automatic notifications via email and Teams.
Reconciliations
Recording and validation of milestone compliance.
Periodic reports for tracking.
One-Time Extension Notification
Module to request and approve single extensions.
Control of history and justification.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Create an integration solution that consolidates data from three ERP systems to enable effective monitoring and tracking of material purchases and deliveries.
Support the implementation of an interactive Power BI dashboard that integrates key performance metrics from Contracting, Procurement, and Warehouse departments.
Analyze and identify process improvement opportunities within the contracting and procurement request workflows to reduce cycle times and enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent skills in MS Office (especially Excel and Power BI) with strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills in both Spanish and English.
Careful, good attention to details.
Regular Students of Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related fields in their final years of university.
