Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Senior Maintenance Specialist (Rotational) for COB (Centro Operativo Bare) processing Facilities and Huyapari Field in the Empresa Mixta Petropiar. This key position will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance needs of the Petropiar Upstream Operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe maintenance activities, operational excellence, reliability, and cost efficiency within the team.

The Petropiar Senior Maintenance Specialist position supports the Petropiar Maintenance Manager, providing technical supervision and works very closely with the Reliability team, Supervisors/Operators, and Production/Plant superintendents on a daily basis to execute the wells recovery plan and responds for Surface Equipment Reliability and Integrity.

The candidates selected for these positions will work in a 14x14 or 21x21 rotational Work Shift.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Contributes to safety program, health, and environment protection in order to achieve Incident free Operations.
• Executes the strategy to recover the reliability and capacity of the systems, and will be responsible for materials, services, and logistics management required to implement the COB Capacity recovery plan.
• Drives daily maintenance strategy to achieve key Business Plan targets (Opex, IFO, equipment reliability and availability, etc.)
• Facilitating and leading Plant Reliability improvements using techniques such as Root Cause Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Centered Maintenance, Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) modeling and Life-Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) in combination with applicable engineering analysis to drive reliability improvement efforts.
• Monitors budgets and expenses (services and materials assigned to maintenance) and manpower productivity of Petropiar and the services companies. 
• Identifies/tracks Competitive Performance (CP) ideas in the COB that drive improvement. Registration of improvement ideas/projects in CP Tool when needed.
• Identify, reports and follow up of asset integrity issues of critical equipment.
• Provides technical support to Gas compression Team to implement the Major Maintenance Plan (Compressor Overhauling) to guarantee compressors availability and improve reliability. 
• Enforces operational discipline in Fatality prevention, process safety standards and safe work practices.
• Teams with Operations to develop programs to improve mechanical availability of rotative equipment through RCM, PM optimization, spares management, and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Participates in cross functional efforts with Optimization, production, operations, and Projects to improve equipment reliability and optimization.
• Coaches and develops employees involved with maintenance and Production projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related careers. 
• At least 15 years of experience in oil &gas industry.
• Demonstrates wide knowledge of Reliability, Process Safety, MOC, maintenance work order management, P&ID and Engineering drawings in work processes.

• Has wide knowledge of Base Business Processes (SERIP-FIRM, IPSO and SFO).
• Must be highly proficient in English.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Effectively communicates and can train the workforce.
• Capable of providing formal training in many areas of expertise.
• Knowledge and experience applying the Asset Integrity Process Safety Standard along with associated codes and standards (e.g. API, NACE) to fixed equipment.
• Instrumentation and control principles 
• Fluency in leading technical studies, troubleshoots/failure investigations, and RCAs for reliability events.  
• Has extensive technical experience in heavy oil processing facilities. 
• Ability to develop and implement budget plans and project work.
