Training Program Manager

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph to be considered. 

 

Cherokee Preting is seeking a Training Program Manager that will assist and support the execution of all training coordination functions required for the student training pipeline at the Joint Military Attaché School (JMAS).

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated starting salary: $110,000-$120,000. Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided.  Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

 

Training Program Manager Responsibilities Include: 

  • Coordinate with external military human resource command and representatives, internal service elements, and Office of Human Resources (OHR) to validate requisitions and develop requisite JMAS student training schedules.
  • Develop student class rosters for each JMAS iteration.
  • Secure qualifications and perform duties as Unit Security Officer
  • Verify student security clearance information and spouse interim access designations.
  • Perform duties as Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) and Non-DTS Entry Agent (NDEA) in Defense Travel System (DTS) for student travel.
  • Comply with applicable laws and directives to ensure successful completion of JMAS pipeline training by all students.
  • Maintain knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other software programs for various work-related needs.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

Training Program Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in business administration, personnel management, or intelligence
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. An additional five (5) years of experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in a Military Training Environment
  • Proficiency in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training methodologies.  Add on from the SOW, but good to have. 
  • Ability to design assessment methods and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Add on from the SOW, but good to have.
  • Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor training initiatives within deadlines and budgets. Add on from the SOW, but good to have.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
