The Junior Marketing and Logistics Associate will provide daily support to the Strategic Communications and Community Outreach team in the execution of strategic marketing campaigns and initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative tasks pertaining to campaign execution and upkeep
  • Conduct market research to identify new campaign initiatives and deliverables
  • Gather and analyze campaign data (web traffic and rankings)
  • Assist with organizing company-hosted events and participation in industry events
  • Coordinate with Marketing Campaign Analysts and Graphic Designer to create promotional materials, including but not limited to digital and print ads, one-sheets, capability briefs, landing pages, and social media posts
  • Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
  • Handles all shipping and receiving for the SCCO team, including packaging items and scheduling pickups, drop-offs, and tracking shipments
  • Tracks expenses and handles expense reporting
  • Tests and checks all marketing equipment for damage after receiving
  • Organizes and tracks marketing inventory
  • Places orders for office and shipping supplies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
    • Marketing/Communications/Business Administration associate’s degree or 2+years marketing experience preferred
    • Experience with Hootsuite, Canva, and the Microsoft O365 platform is a plus
  • Background Check required

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, most specifically, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Internet usage, researching, and marketing to include social media.
  • Ability to travel as needed and attend evening and weekend events as required.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in a professional manner when dealing with employees, customers, and company contacts
  • Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a clear, courteous, and professional manner when dealing with the public
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
