Join Chenega in supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) mission in Alexandria, VA. As an Armed Security Guard, you’ll be the first line of defense, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and sensitive operations. This is your opportunity to serve with purpose and professionalism.

• Provide armed security and access control at designated USACE facilities.
• Monitor and patrol premises to prevent unauthorized access or incidents.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches promptly.
• Prepare accurate incident and activity reports.
• Maintain compliance with all post orders, SOPs, and federal regulations.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably with a civilian police force, military, or civilian security organization.
• Active Secret Clearance. 
• Current CPR & OC Spray certification.
• Active DCJS license.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights/weekends.
• Strong situational awareness and communication skills.
• High school diploma.
• Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
• Prior armed security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
