Are you passionate about security and looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? Chenega Corporation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Access Control Specialist to join our team.
This is a part-time, on-call opening to fill shifts as needed
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Ensure the safety and security of personnel and property by managing access control systems.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Effective communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Previous experience in security or access control is a plus.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and Outlook
