As a Shift Leader of Warehouse and Post Retail, your work helps transfer potential into opportunity. You can make a difference! You will assist in managing the operations of donated merchandise in accordance with established business practices and organization’s policies and procedures. Job Functions Through words and actions support Chattanooga Goodwill’s Mission, Vision, and Values; furthermore, actions and decisions will align with organizational guiding principles. Maintain agency, employee, and participants confidentiality. Violation of confidentiality may be cause for termination. Achieve daily production goals sales plan by executing the Organizations procedures and best practices.  Train, motivate, and supervise all distribution center and post retail employees.     Be the Distribution Center and Post Retail subject matter expert on all distribution center and post retail processes. Satisfactorily complete all administrative tasks, including but not limited to daily reporting and recordkeeping.  Champion a safe working environment. Punctual and dependable attendance. Must be available to work during operating business hours as needed for business operations. Work schedule includes days, evenings, holidays and blackout periods, weekends are required. Works 40 hours per week or more when required. Attend and complete all training and meetings as required. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Key Knowledge And Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. 1 year of experience in a related field, preferred. 1 year of experience in a supervisory role of 10 or more employees preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coach and tactfully assist fellow employees.  Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and organize work. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment. Basic math skills.
