Your New Role

We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as National Communications & Influence Coordinator in Montreal. The coordinator role sits within the National Marketing and Communications team and will work closely with several internal functions (Brand Marketing, Regional Marketing) as well as External PR agencies and third-party event contacts.

This role will play a key part in the successful delivery of brand Communication and Influence programs across Canada. Reporting into the National Communications & Influence Manager, you will become an expert in the PR needs and opportunities of the brands within the portfolio, supporting the execution of yearly communication and influence plans. In this fast-paced role, you will have the opportunity to build a dynamic skill set and obtain wide-ranging experience across communications and influence.


What you’ll do

  • Coordinate weekly PR agency status meetings and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Ownership of POSM (Point of Sale Materials) and sample orders for media and influencer initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date programming calendars for all MH Communication & Influence projects.
  • Handle messenger and courier requests for PR purposes.
  • Ensure partner PR agencies are set up for success; collaborate with relevant brand and regional marketing teams to ensure all assets are in place for an effective press office, including pricing, shelf timings, embargoes, and sample coordination.
  • Coordinate and execute projects including press office, national big bet programs, launches, seeding & gifting initiatives, press trips, tastings, and media events ensuring seamless logistics and brand representation.
  • Track KPIs across Communication & Influence projects.
  • Support travel arrangements and itinerary planning for team members, media, and influencers.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all MH brand guidelines, including logo usage, cropping guides, and image rights verification.
  • Collaborate with Graphic Design to develop artwork for key Communication & Influence projects.
  • Coordinate reporting across projects including monthly Communication & Influence newsletter, ensuring timely delivery to internal stakeholders and Maisons.


Education

  • University degree.


Experience

  • 2+ years in marketing or PR, PR agency background preferred.

  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Valid Passport and Driver’s License.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying of items as required.

  • This is a 12-month contract role based in our Montreal office.
