Our team is made up of passionate and talented individuals with prior work experience at Blackrock, Bain, Goldman Sachs, Palantir, and Forage (YC21) . 🗽 We are fully in-person in New York City, which helps us maintain our extremely collaborative and caring team culture.
Job Description
We're at a critical inflection point in our product journey. Our technology is transforming how donors give and how nonprofits raise funds, but to scale our impact, we need someone who can lead product strategy. This role bridges deep customer understanding with hands-on product leadership, ensuring what we build is both visionary and grounded in real use. You’ll own the evolution of our new product: shaping roadmap priorities, defining requirements, and building systems that make complex financial workflows effortless for nonprofits and platforms alike. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and our nonprofit and platform partners, turning insights into scalable product features. This is a high-impact product leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of product strategy, customer experience, and execution.
Responsibilities
Drive product direction through customer insight
Lead discovery with our nonprofit and platform partners to identify pain points and uncover opportunities that inform the product roadmap
Shape the roadmap Translate field learnings and business goals into prioritized, high-ROI product initiatives that advance Chariot’s mission of simplifying charitable payments
Accelerate implementation velocity Reduce time-to-value. Drive faster integration launches for key nonprofit partners (E.g. American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen) and fundraising platforms (E.g. GoFundMe)
Build scalable implementation systems Create repeatable processes, documentation, and tools that allow us to handle growing volume without proportionally growing the team. Develop and maintain API documentation and training materials for internal and external use
Increase engineering velocity through clarity and focus Define clear product requirements, reduce ambiguity, and streamline cross-functional communication so engineering can move faster with fewer blockers and higher-quality output
Navigate product development with live clients Successfully onboard clients while the product is actively being built, gathering critical feedback while maintaining client confidence and satisfaction
