Change Grow Live has been commissioned by the City of London Department of Community and Children’s Services to deliver the London Inpatient Detoxification and Stabilisation Portal (LIDASP). This includes an innovative online portal and a collaborative framework of partner providers, designed to support London residents and those sleeping rough or at risk.
The IPD Framework builds on pan-London commissioning arrangements and aims to expand access to sustainable, inclusive detoxification and stabilisation services. It is a strategic step forward in tackling health inequalities and improving outcomes for health inclusion groups.
As a Recovery Co-Ordinator for the LIDASP you will support individuals with substance misuse issues in preparing for inpatient detoxification/stabilisation by providing structured guidance and emotional reassurance to ensure readiness for detox/stabilisation admission.
This is an office/hybrid role with regular travel to community providers and inpatient units across London. Ideally, you will be located within easy reach of the city.
You will maintain strong relationships with community providers and inpatient providers, ensuring timely placements and seamless care for service users across London.
Working closely with the City of London Project Manager you will be supported to:
-Positively promote the use of residential detox/stabilisaiton services as a key treatment option for all
- Promoting flexibility and openness in local approach, break down barriers to access for residential detox/stabilisation services – i.e., values-based, person-centered, and individualised care and support
-Co-ordinating pre-admission requirements and building trust with individuals that engage with our service.
- Delivering face-to-face/or online/education-oriented sessions to staff working within the City of London regarding the referral process to the online portal
- Case Management
-Gathering feedback from service users and partner agencies
-Completing pre/post check-in telephone calls

We’re looking for someone who brings:
Experience and understanding of substance misuse and related support services
Confidence working with individuals and groups, including navigating challenging situations
Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with good IT confidence
The ability to work independently, stay organised, and manage competing priorities
An understanding of mental health needs and good practice
Strong partnership-working skills across different teams and organisations
A person-centred approach, with the ability to adapt and respond positively to change
A commitment to safeguarding, information governance, and ethical practice
A willingness to learn, develop, and contribute to shared learning within the team
